TRANSPORT TO THE VENUE

 

The LaVita IBU World Championships Biathlon will take place in Otepää, which can be reached either by car or by special shuttle buses from Tartu, Tallinn, Viljandi, Pärnu or Riga.

SHUTTLE BUSES

 

All shuttle bus tickets are available through Piletilevi HERE. Please note! Shuttle bus tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be sold on board.
 

Shuttle buses stop at the Otepää Bus Station, which is a 10-minute walk from the stadium.

TARTU–OTEPÄÄ–TARTU

The journey takes up to 50 minutes.

Departure times:

• Tartu–Otepää: Every competition day, departures starting at 12:00 and 14:00

• Otepää–Tartu: Every competition day, one hour after the last race finishes, as well as at 22:00 on Tuesday–Thursday and Sunday, and at 23:00 on Friday–Saturday

 

Please note! Buses depart as soon as all seats are filled. Remaining passengers can board the next bus, which will arrive at the stop as soon as possible. A seat is guaranteed for everyone who has purchased a shuttle bus 

ticket.

TALLINN–OTEPÄÄ–TALLINN

The journey takes up to 3 hours.

PARKING

 

Parking for visitors attending the LaVita IBU World Championships will be organised according to on-site instructions and the direction of arrival when approaching Otepää. Parking is FREE for everyone. Parking information will be updated as the event approaches. 

​

Shuttle buses will operate from the parking areas to Otepää Bus Station. From there, visitors can walk to the stadium in approximately 10 minutes.

​

Please note! There is NO visitor parking available in the town of Otepää!
