On this page you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding the BMW IBU World Cup in Otepää. 

How can I become a volunteer?

At the moment, we are not recruiting additional volunteers for the BMW IBU World Cup Otepää 2026. However, we recommend keeping an eye on our website and social media channels, as new opportunities may arise in connection with the 2027 IBU World Championships. If you are interested, you may leave your contact details by emailing: accreditation@biathlon.ee.

Are there caravan accommodation options in Otepää?

Yes, there are caravan parking areas available in Otepää. You can stay with a caravan at:

Can a 12-year-old child attend the competition for free?

Yes, children up to and including 12 years of age can attend the competitions free of charge. However, a 0€ ticket is required for entry. We recommend redeeming the zero-value ticket in advance on the Piletilevi website before coming to the event. If you haven’t done so beforehand, you can also collect it at the entrance gate ticket office before entering the venue.

Without a 0€ ticket, entry to the competition area is not permitted. We recommend arriving early and ensuring that the 0€ ticket is issued before ticket control to avoid having to return to the ticket office after queuing.

Are there seats in the grandstands?

Seating is available only in the Grandstand C with unnumbered seats. The other grandstands are standing areas. Visitors may bring a seat pad if they wish to rest from time to time.

Is the competition area accessible for wheelchair users?


Yes, wheelchair users can access the competition area. Wheelchair users can enjoy the competition from the Grandstand  A with a valid ticket. Entry is free of charge for one accompanying person. Accessible parking is located at the intersection of Tehvandi Street and Valga Road. See the exact location HERE.

What is not allowed to bring into the venue?

It is not permitted to bring cold or firearms, weapon-like objects, pyrotechnics, drones, hate-inciting or political advertising, or any Russian or Belarusian symbols into the competition venue. Entry with umbrellas and any advertising materials not approved by the IBU is also prohibited.

 

Bringing your own food and drinks is not allowed, however you may bring your own thermos or a water bottle.

Pets are not allowed in the competition area.
