Limited weekend day passes for the Biathlon World Cup now on sale

From 12 to 15 March 2026, the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup will be held in

Otepää for the second time in history, with the world’s top biathletes

competing across four race days. Until now, day passes for the grandstands

were only available for Thursday and Friday. Now, a limited number of

Saturday and Sunday day passes for the A and B stands will be released for

sale at the start of each week.

Day passes for the A and B grandstands are sold in limited quantities each week,

based on the stands’ capacity and the number of multi-day passes sold. Day passes

are primarily intended for sports fans who cannot spend the entire weekend in

Otepää but still want to cheer from the grandstand on a day of their choice. Saturday

and Sunday passes are available throughout the entire sales period.

“We have received numerous requests from spectators who can attend Otepää on

only one specific day and want to experience the World Cup from the grandstand.

Although our priority remains to reserve seats in the grandstands for spectators

attending Otepää for more than one day, we can still offer a limited number of day

passes,” said Aivar Nigol, Chairman of the Organising Committee.

Day passes are valid for the selected competition day in either the A or B

grandstand, and the grandstand pass also grants access to the track. “Due to high

demand, we recommend purchasing grandstand day passes as early as possible, as

they may not be available later. For example, the C grandstand is soon sold out for

the weekend, and the A and B stands are filling up rapidly,” added Nigol.

The BMW IBU World Cup in Otepää will take place just weeks after the 2026

Milano–Cortina Winter Olympics, giving spectators the opportunity to cheer for the

newly crowned Olympic medallists. Over the course of four competition days, the

world’s top biathletes will compete in the sprint, pursuit, mixed relay, and single

mixed relay events. Free entry for children under 12.
