The meeting was opened by IBU Secretary General Max Cobb, who welcomed delegates and encouraged the OCs to actively contribute to the discussions. A series of presentations from the IBU and its partners followed, covering topics including merchandise services, event organisation, fluor control, digital rights for OC partners at IBU events, para biathlon, safeguarding and more.

On the second day, the OC consultation groups presented the outcomes of their work over the past year, sharing insights and recommendations on topics including volunteer and referee deployment, the use of technology, strategic OC support and event experience. The presentations highlighted opportunities to further strengthen event delivery and support the objectives of the IBU Target 2030 strategy.

Following the meeting, participants visited Otepää venue, which is preparing to welcome the IBU World Championships from 9 - 21 February 2027.
